Born and raised in the Bay Area– I’ll love this place forever. But my story has roots in El Salvador and the bloodied civil war. My parents immigrated here in the 1980’s seeking better opportunities and a chance at peace for themselves and their children. My mother cleans houses and my father is an Uber driver. Fast forward and I’m a Yale graduate and second year Stanford law student. I’m here now as a rebellious lawyer in training— fighting with and for those whom the legal system marginalizes. Currently en route to be a deportation defense lawyer & dedicated to keeping folks home.
